Join us for a day of excellent presentations with Tina Suominen from the Mammo Surveillance Group for TX State Health Services and Trae Windham who is the Mammography Inspection Manager for the Texas Department of State Health Services as the discuss updated in EQUIP, Inspections and Off Site Workstations. The conference will conclude with Michelle Keck discussing the Breast Health Clinical Navigator certification, what it is and it's role in Mammography.

  • Introduce the State of Texas Verified Licensed Medical Physicist Program 

  • Understanding what is required to become a Breast Health Navigator. Knowing what the national guidelines are for breast health and testing. 

  • Knowing the breast cancer types and what the staging and grades mean.  

  • Be able to recognize what treatment options are and when they should be used depending the cancer grade and stage. 

  • Know what programs are available in your community for patients’ different needs.  

  • What types of help patients need mentally and physically during treatments.
