  • Explain regulatory requirements of the Lead Interpreting Physician oversight concerning QC 

  • How to successfully set up an adequate QC review program 

  • Common pitfalls that cause regulatory non-compliance 

  • Explain regulatory requirements of the Licensed Medical Physicist oversight concerning QC 

  • How to ensure compliance for the facility and the Licensed Medical Physicist 

  • Common regulatory deficiencies discovered 

  • Introduce the State of Texas Verified Licensed Medical Physicist Program 

  • Understanding what is required to become a Breast Health Navigator. Knowing what the national guidelines are for breast health and testing. 

  • Knowing the breast cancer types and what the staging and grades mean.  

  • Be able to recognize what treatment options are and when they should be used depending the cancer grade and stage. 

  • Know what programs are available in your community for patients’ different needs.  

  • What types of help patients need mentally and physically during treatments.
