MRI Prep & Exam Review – 16 Hours
Preparing for the MRI registry? This 16-hour course gives you a structured, comprehensive review of everything you need to succeed. You’ll cover MRI fundamentals, imaging procedures, physics and instrumentation, sequence parameters, artifacts, patient care, and safety — all guided by an expert MRI technologist.
Through focused lectures, case examples, and interactive Q&A, you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to tackle the exam with success. The course meets ARRT post-primary structured education requirements, including at least 1 hour in each key content area: Patient Care & Safety, Imaging Procedures, and Physics & Instrumentation.
Important: You must attend the full session to receive credit; late logins will not be eligible for CE certification. If you log in 15 minutes after the webinar has started, you will not be issued a certificate. The system we use monitors interactivity and will provide us with a report.
ARRT Structured Education Requirements
For candidates pursuing a post‑primary certification with ARRT, the following applies:
You must complete 16 hours of structured education aligned with the discipline’s Examination Content Specifications. ARRT MRI Content Specs
At least one hour of structured education must be drawn from each major content category for the discipline (for example, Patient Care & Safety, Procedures, Physics/Instrumentation) as defined in the ARRT handbook. ARRT Targeted CE
Structured education activities must meet ARRT criteria (e.g., approved by a CE approver or academic institution) and must be completed within 24 months before submission of the post‑primary application. ARRT Structured Education
This course is listed on ARRT's site for prescribed CQR.
**This live, instructor-directed course meets the Texas Medical Board requirements for all registered Medical Radiologic Technologists. Please refer to the TMB website for more information: TMB CE Requirements
