Charles Beasley Ph.D.

Charles Beasley recently retired from the McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where he was Medical Physicist Section Chief and Associate Professor of Radiology. He is a member of the American Association of Medical Physicists and board certified by the American Board of Science in Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Beasley received a bachelor's degree from the University of Houston, a master's degree from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and a doctorate from the School of Public Health at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. In 2013 Governor Rick Perry named Dr. Beasley the chair of the Texas Board of Licensure for Professional Medical Physicists. Currently Dr. Beasley is a consultant nuclear medical physicist for several health care systems.
