• The Body`s Blueprint: A Guide to DEXA Total Composition

Step into the evolving world of total body composition with this course designed for imaging professionals who want to expand their skills beyond bone density. Led by experienced instructor Greg Yardley, this session will walk you through the science and practice behind DEXA total body composition scanning.

You'll learn how to interpret scan reports, identify key markers of fat, lean mass, and bone, and understand how these scans are used in everything from athletic performance and weight management to clinical research and patient care. Whether you're scanning elite athletes or patients managing obesity or sarcopenia, this course will help you connect the technical details to real-world outcomes.

We’ll also cover best practices for patient positioning and scan procedures, explore what precision means in this context, and talk openly about the ethical and practical realities of using a radiation-based tool for wellness purposes.
