• Gynecological Ultrasound

Payment Plan Available!

Ultrasound has become an essential diagnostic tool in gynecology, providing valuable insight beyond the physical exam by allowing direct visualization of the uterus, ovaries, and adnexa. This 2-day course combines lecture and hands-on scanning to help participants develop the knowledge and technical skills needed to perform and interpret gynecologic ultrasound exams with confidence.

Instruction begins with an overview of physics, instrumentation, and the fundamentals of transabdominal and endovaginal scanning techniques. Participants then apply this knowledge in our state-of-the-art scan lab using live models under the guidance of experienced faculty. Hands-on practice reinforces proper scanning protocols, anatomy identification, and image orientation, while Doppler techniques are introduced to assist in the diagnosis and interpretation of pelvic pathology.
