• Texas MRTs: Understanding the New Regulatory Landscape

Stay current with the latest changes affecting Texas Medical Radiologic Technologists (MRTs). This course provides a practical overview of recent changes to the Texas MRT renewal process, including continuing education requirements, CE verification, and the new CE Broker reporting requirements taking effect September 1, 2026.

Participants will also explore how recent Texas legislation is changing the way regulatory boards establish and implement requirements for healthcare professionals. The course compares selected regulatory changes affecting MRTs with those impacting other Texas healthcare professions and reviews current requirements for registration, certification, continuing education, documentation, and recordkeeping.

The course concludes with a practical renewal checklist and resources to help MRTs understand what they need to do now and where to find authoritative information when preparing for renewal.
