• Mammography in Motion: Ultrasound, Mobility and EQUIP

This course brings together topics that are shaping the future of mammography: mobility, ultrasound, and image quality assurance. Whether you’re on the road with a mobile unit, navigating tough positioning challenges, or looking to strengthen your EQUIP program, this course delivers relevant, hands-on information for today’s breast imaging professionals.
We’ll start with an insider’s look at mobile mammography, its growth, benefits for underserved communities, and the logistical hurdles that come with taking care on the road. From staffing and licensing to equipment handling and continuity of care, you’ll get a practical roadmap for running or supporting a successful mobile program.
Next, we’ll dive into EQUIP, breaking down the guidelines, team roles, and tools available to make quality assurance part of your everyday workflow. You’ll walk away with useful strategies that won’t add unnecessary burden.
You’ll get real-world tips for handling challenging patient scenarios, including positioning workarounds, equipment modifications, and smart ergonomic habits to keep both your patients and you safe. And finally, we’ll introduce the essential building blocks of breast ultrasound, helping mammographers understand image basics, anatomy, labeling, and what you’re really seeing on screen.
