"Mr. Struthers presented an excellent course concerning trauma centers/emergency departments. Explanation of the classification of the various levels of emergency departments, emphasis of the Golden Hour, and the change of times of how CT and US being requested first in the ED. He provided case studies, which are always fascinating, showing each fracture, separation, air or blood in the cavity, look like. He brought up a good point that the technologist has to adjust to the patient to get the proper radiograph on a trauma patient.
I know it's necessary to present statistical information on the number of fatalities and abuse cases; that's part of the trauma center. It's saddening, but it's part of life (and part of the job in the trauma center). It takes special people to work there. I appreciate them all! Thank you, Mr. Struthers!"
